The tour starts from the Roman ruins of the columns of San Lorenzo and then reaches the church of Sant’Ambrogio, the city’s famous patron. A stop at the beautiful Renaissance church of Santa Maria delle Grazie is important. We will then proceed to the Sforza Castel where we are going to visit the various areas and retrace the steps of the life of the famous lords of Milan, first the Visconti and then the Sforza. Leaving the castle we will see in the distance the beautiful arch of Peace.
Our tour will end in Piazza del Duomo with a visit to the cathedral and we will climb to the top where it will be magical to walk among the spiers and enjoy a wonderful view of the city of Milan. After going down we’ll walk under the famous Gallery Vittorio Emanuele II which now houses luxury restaurants and boutiques of famous brands to arrive in Piazza della Scala where we will be able to admire the most famous opera house in the world that hosted famous singers such as Caruso, Maria Callas, Luciano Pavarotti and others.
While will be coming back the main square, a view of the “La Rinascente” warehouses, which are the oldest warehouses in Milan, is an oblige and you will be free to enjoy all the shopping hours you will do.
